When you know how to suffer you suffer less – zine

“When you know how to suffer you suffer less” is a zine of aphorisms or short statements expressing a general truth or advice on how to conduct yourself. These aphorisms were taken from notes jotted down over a period of a year of health investigations into hEDS/HSD, MCAS and related conditions. The zine is intended to help others ‘ride the waves’ of chronic illness. The title quote is from Vietnamese zen monk and peace activist Thich Nhat Hanh.

If you would like to a free PDF copy of the zine or would like to contribute an aphorism to the next edition please email preciousillness@gmail.com
